As a CDL Delivery Driver for Apex Logistics, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our clients receive their products safely and on time. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their driving skills and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated customer locations within the Las Vegas area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring all items are secured properly.
- Verify delivery quantities and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and daily reports.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL License (CDL Required).
- Current Medical Card (Must be DOT compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs, reckless driving, or multiple moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
