Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all DOT and company regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of merchandise.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during drop-offs and pickups.
- Adhere to strict schedules and route planning to meet delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
