Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods across NYC boroughs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Optimize routes for timely delivery using GPS navigation systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure roadworthiness
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and parking regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
