Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles within the San Francisco metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations, including hours of service.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interfacing with clients and dock personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and operating standard hand controls.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
