Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on designated routes within Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Interact professionally with clients and customers at delivery points.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Ability to read maps and navigate unfamiliar routes proficiently.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
