Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adapt routes efficiently to avoid traffic delays and ensure on-time deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean driving record
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and problem resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
- Pass background check and drug screening
