Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly and documentation is accurate.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a professional image while representing the company at customer sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving abstract.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Dual Endorsements (Tanker/HAZMAT preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
