Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper techniques to prevent damage and ensure security.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check) and current medical card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor as needed.
- Strong customer service skills and reliability.
