Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated delivery points in the Orlando area.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and mileage reports.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
