Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) for the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in the Colorado Springs area.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
