Responsibilities
- Safely operate your Box Truck to deliver freight to customers in the Wichita area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.
- Handle all logistics paperwork, including Bills of Lading and proof of delivery.
- Maintain a clean, professional image while on the road and at customer sites.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ownership of a well-maintained Box Truck (Van or Straight Truck).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and reliability.
- Access to a reliable cell phone for communication.
