Responsibilities
- Secure and verify cargo before transport.
- Ensure timely delivery and accurate proof of delivery.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle interior and exterior.
- Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Must own a fully insured and mechanically sound box truck.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, but Class C with endorsements is acceptable for smaller loads.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Strong understanding of route planning and navigation.
- Excellent customer service skills for direct interaction with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings.
