Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial box trucks to transport freight to designated delivery locations in the Charlotte metro area.
- Load and secure cargo using straps and dunnage to ensure safe transit.
- Unload freight efficiently and handle customer interaction at the point of delivery.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Must be a legal US resident and possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B (or equivalent experience).
- Must currently own and maintain a fully insured box truck (10-26ft range preferred).
- Proven track record of safe driving with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
