Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate pickup/drop-off schedules with dispatch team
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate proactively with logistics coordinator
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
