Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries within Los Angeles County
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each shipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance (minimum $1M liability)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) in good condition
- Pass background check and drug screening
