Responsibilities
- Unload and Load: Efficiently unload trailers and load packages into delivery vehicles.
- Package Handling: Ensure all packages are scanned, sorted, and handled with care to maintain delivery accuracy.
- Customer Service: Deliver packages to customers in a professional and friendly manner, adhering to delivery protocols.
- Route Planning: Navigate efficiently through local Jersey City routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Age Requirement: At least 21 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
