Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, blood samples, and documents between healthcare facilities with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain precise temperature control for sensitive medical materials during transit.
- Utilize handheld devices to accurately log delivery times and proof of delivery (POD).
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues.
- Provide professional and courteous service to hospital staff and patients.
- Manage inventory of delivery supplies and report shortages.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and navigation.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
