Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe, defensive, and professional manner at all times.
- Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Cargo Handling: Secure cargo properly and ensure freight is delivered in the same condition as received.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and shipper/receiver personnel at delivery points.
- Route Planning: Follow designated routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Training: Must be willing to participate in our paid training program if needed.
- Clean Record: Valid DOT medical card and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Experience: Prior truck driving experience is a plus, but new grads with a Class A are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, pass a DOT physical examination, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to use radio/communication devices.
