Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over long distances while adhering to DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Deliver freight to destinations across the continental US with on-time performance
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS navigation for efficient route planning
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays
- Document all delivery paperwork and ensure cargo security protocols
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required (training provided if unlicensed)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
