Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company van or box truck to deliver packages to local residential and commercial addresses in the Portland metro area.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in the correct order.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service, including signature verification and package handling.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Complete digital delivery logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all routes are completed within the scheduled timeframe.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using our mobile app for navigation and delivery confirmations.
- Willingness to undergo our comprehensive paid training program.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle for pre-shift runs (if applicable).
