Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A CDL) on dedicated, long-haul routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as per Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and schedules.
- Uphold a professional image and safe driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including lifting and bending.
- 21 years of age or older.
