Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances (OTR) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and security of cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records as required by DOT compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) issued by the state of Hawaii.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience (for experienced driver track) or willingness to enroll in our Paid Training program (for entry-level track).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and electronic communication.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
