Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in the New Orleans metropolitan area
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper handling protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proven ability to manage independent operations
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of New Orleans metropolitan area
- Commercial liability insurance coverage
