Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain assigned box truck while adhering to DOT regulations
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs across South Florida
- Document all freight handling and transport activities in compliance with company protocols
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to maximize daily mileage and revenue
- Ensure secure cargo handling and proper documentation for all shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade County road networks and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical aptitude for roadside troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Must own or lease a DOT-compliant box truck (24-26ft preferred)
