Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely on dedicated routes across Louisiana and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety policies
- Load/unload freight with proper documentation handling and securement
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain through paid training program
- Minimum 21 years old with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and trip planning
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including overnight travel
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- No prior experience required – training provided
