Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, asphalt, soil)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
- Assist with minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Uphold strict safety standards on job sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area routes
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Commercial driver's insurance required
