Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft box truck safely and efficiently on assigned regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring safety and security of freight.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) compliance.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be 21 years of age or older to operate commercial vehicles.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning software.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
