As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for your truck, your schedule, and your earnings. We provide competitive freight rates, fuel bonuses, and a dedicated support team to ensure you stay on the road and on the money.
Responsibilities
- Operate & Deliver: Safely operate a 26ft Box Truck to deliver freight to clients within the Bakersfield region and surrounding areas.
- Asset Management: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and cargo area are clean and in excellent condition.
- Customer Service: Deliver professional service to customers, including proper loading/unloading of cargo and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary delivery paperwork, bills of lading, and logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to minimize fuel consumption and maximize delivery times.
Qualifications
- CDL Requirements: Possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Medical Card: Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a box truck or similar vehicle.
- Clean Record: A clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious violations in the last 3 years.
- Assets: You must own your own Box Truck and authority.
- Attitude: Self-motivated, professional, and committed to safety.
