Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight across the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and road safety.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documents.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries and route changes.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or eligibility for our training program).
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or serious moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
