Responsibilities
- Operate your own box truck for regional freight delivery
- Manage timely pickup and delivery of goods across Texas
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal routing
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Build relationships with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- DOT medical certification
- Reliable box truck (26ft+ preferred)
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Basic accounting knowledge for independent contractor status
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
