Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between Laredo and regional destinations
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while accommodating flexible start/end times
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Communicate with dispatch team using GPS tracking and mobile applications
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings/weekends
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
