Responsibilities
- Operate 26ft box trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes within Alaska.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Uphold strict adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred; however, candidates with a standard driver’s license may apply for our paid training program.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to undergo and successfully complete our paid training curriculum.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal vehicle for local commuting to the terminal.
