Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck or straight truck in a professional manner.
- Load and unload freight efficiently at shipping and receiving locations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and logbook paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, traffic, and delivery status.
- Ensure cargo is secured and protected from damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Must own a 26-foot box truck or straight truck in good working condition.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Must possess a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks during loading/unloading.
- Must have valid DOT medical card and current insurance.
- Reliable smartphone for communication and ELD compliance.
