Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck (24-26ft) for local/regional freight delivery in Portland metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs per DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Manage client communications for delivery confirmations and issue resolution
- Uphold company safety standards and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- DOT medical certification current
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2008 or newer preferred)
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
