Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations within the Columbus metropolitan area.
- Load and unload packages and merchandise from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure signatures are obtained upon successful drop-off.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, adhering to company safety standards.
- Update delivery status in the management system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during each delivery interaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy is required for electronic logging and dispatch updates.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the local distribution center.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
