Responsibilities
- Secure and deliver freight loads within the assigned time windows.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Inspect the truck and trailer for mechanical issues before and after each run.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.
- Fuel the vehicle and perform basic maintenance checks as needed.
- Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Must own a 26-foot box truck (or similar) in good working condition.
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving permit.
- A clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- No previous driving experience is required for qualified candidates.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Basic knowledge of navigation systems and route planning.
- Must be physically able to lift, push, and pull cargo boxes.
