Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (16' - 26') to deliver freight to local businesses and residential customers.
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper equipment (pallet jacks, dollies).
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation (Bill of Lading and Proof of Delivery).
- Ensure the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the vehicle before, during, and after shifts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Qualifications
- No Experience Needed: Must be willing to learn and complete our onboarding training program.
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license (Class A or B is a plus, but not strictly required for box truck operations).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks during loading/unloading.
- Must have a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious traffic violations in the last 3 years).
- Access to a reliable box truck (if you don't have one, we can discuss leasing options).
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
