Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional routes
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load pickup/delivery
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling procedures
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
- Communicate delivery status and address client inquiries
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and basic maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (or willingness to obtain with training)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app communication
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to/from truck yard
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to complete paid training program
