Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Manage delivery documentation and proof of delivery processes
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with hours-of-service rules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Buffalo/NY area roadways
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
