Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated routes between Richmond, VA and regional distribution centers
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD) compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and resolve route disruptions
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices at all times
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and on-time deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for 25-30 hours weekly with weekend flexibility
