Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries across designated routes
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Secure cargo and handle documentation for specialized freight when required
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during low-visibility nighttime operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT regulations
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
