Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Accurately complete electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Maintain professional communication with clients and warehouse personnel
- Handle specialized freight (temperature-controlled, dry van) as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) including weekends
