Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks for regional night deliveries (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Adhere to DOT regulations and route optimization protocols
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Respond to route adjustments due to traffic/weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Night shift availability (Sunday - Thursday)
- Knowledge of Seattle metro roadways and delivery zones
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems
