Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for local and regional night routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery records
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes
- Secure high-value cargo during transit in urban environments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and delivery zones
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Experience with refrigerated/hazardous materials preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
