Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated night routes across Arizona and neighboring states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Document delivery paperwork and maintain shipment documentation
- Utilize GPS systems for real-time route optimization and traffic avoidance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years recent tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Flexible schedule availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
