Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on designated night routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment to ensure secure transport.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate records of miles driven, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, state laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
