Responsibilities
- Safely operate dry van trailers delivering goods to Phoenix metro warehouses and retail locations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and HOS regulations
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for route optimization
- Secure cargo and maintain temperature-controlled loads when required
- Communicate with dispatch team via Qualcomm systems
- Complete delivery documentation and obtain electronic signatures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb trailer steps
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Phoenix metro roadways and I-10 corridor
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexibility to adjust routes during peak season
