Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Complete daily electronic logging device (ELD) logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Navigate complex delivery routes and traffic patterns, especially during nighttime hours.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the truck cab and cargo area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions on the road.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
