Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on assigned routes in the Los Angeles area and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and securely using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during night operations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
