Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes and interstates.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Accurately maintain Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety protocols.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving environment within the cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Strong clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours and lifting requirements.
- Basic computer skills for logging and paperwork.
